Windstaller Alliance awarded a marine operations study on the development of floating wind at Utsira Nord

The Windstaller Alliance is happy to announce that we have been awarded a marine operations study for the consortium consisting of Ocean Winds, Statkraft AS and Aker Offshore Wind for their preparations on the development of floating wind at Utsira Nord.

The marine operations study will cover work related to temporary wet-storage of floaters and onshore handling of large amount of heavy chains. Study will be finalized during Q4 2022.

The Windstaller Alliance are really looking forward using their extensive experience within the alliance to support the consortium to find successful and cost-effective solutions for their floating wind development on Utsira Nord.
