  • Guro Høyaas Løken

    Guro Høyaas Løken

    Head of Alliance / Managing Director

    Løken has more than 20 years’ international experience from deepwater platform and mooring design, marine operations and decommissioning in the oil and gas industry. Most recently she has held roles as EVP FPSOs and SVP decommissioning & marine operations at Kvaerner ASA. She has also held management positions at EMAS Chiyoda Subsea, Technip, Aker Marine Contractors and Aker Engineering. Løken holds an MSc in naval architecture and marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science & Technology, NTNU.

  • André Ødegård Eilertsen

    Vice President Projects and Technology

    Eilertsen has close to 20 years’ experience from subsea EPCI projects, including tendering activities, engineering, follow-up of subcontractors and offshore installation from both the renewables and oil and gas industries. He joined Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean, where he has held roles as technical manager – offshore renewables, and project technical manager of SURF projects. He has also spent almost a decade with Technip in various project management and engineering roles. Eilertsen holds an MSc in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science & Technology, NTNU.

  • Lars Ove Hole

    Lars Ove Hole

    Vice President Vessels and Marine Operations

    Hole has an extensive maritime background from the offshore renewables and oil and gas industry. He joined Windstaller Alliance from a position as Vessel Manager, Renewable Energy, at Solstad Offshore ASA where he has been close to 10 years. He has extensive experience in vessel operations and management including contract/client follow up and tendering activities. Prior to this he was working as technical superintendent in Knutsen OAS Shipping. Hole holds a bachelor’s degree in naval architecture from Western Norway University of Applied Science.

  • Rana Ireifij

    Rana Ireifij

    Vice President Commercial

    Ireifij has been working in a variety of positions in the Oil & Gas business for over 20 years. She has experience from the drilling and offshore business where she has developed expertise in management and marine operations. She has held various management positions in Schlumberger, Transocean, Aker Solutions, EMAS Chioyda Subsea and Miko Marine. She brings with her extensive international experience including working for more than 10 years in countries like the US, Indonesia, Thailand, Ivory Coast, Scotland and China. Ireifij holds a BSc degree in Engineering from The University of Jordan.

  • Gary Cunningham

    Commercial Manager

    Cunningham has more than 15 years' experience working in the maritime sector of the energy industry and has extensive experience in vessel operations and commercial management. In 2017 he joined Solstad Offshore as Operations Manager to oversee vessel operations in the UK and in 2021 he took over as Managing Director for the UK business, responsible for promoting and supporting the group's activities in various regions globally. Prior to joining Solstad Offshore he held various technical and vessel management positions which included the management of a variety of offshore vessel types including AHTS, Dive Support Vessels and Drill Ships. Prior to working onshore, he sailed globally as an Engineering Officer on construction vessels. Gary joined Windstaller Alliance in 2023.

  • Karl H. Beck

    Karl H. Beck

    Commercial Manager

    Beck has over 25 years of experience in the Energy and Shipping Industry where he has held a wide variety of positions, including Ship Newbuilding Project Management, Tender Management as well as Commercial Management, giving him broad technical skills coupled with a commercial mindset. He is a Naval Architect (Hons) from Glasgow University and joins Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean where he has held a position as Commercial Manager. Previous employers include DNV, EMAS AMC and smaller engineering consultancies within the shipping and offshore industry, with 8 years in international postings – both in Europe and Asia. In the past several years he has focused on Management of tendering and Business Development in the renewable energy sector.

  • Synnøve Erdal

    Synnøve Erdal

    Project Manager

    Erdal is project manager with more than 20 years of experience from marine operations and subsea front-end. The marine operation experience is gathered through projects executed in Aker Marine Contractors and EMAS Chiyoda Subsea, while EPCI studies and tenders was her focus while part of the Aker Solutions front-end subsea team. She has project management experience from EMAS Chiyoda Subsea executing projects within riser replacement, installation of rigid pipelines and structure installation. Erdal holds an MSc in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science & Technology, NTNU and she joins Windstaller Alliance from Aker Solutions New Energies.

  • Paal Sveen

    Paal Sveen

    VP Finance

    Sveen is experienced within financial management, tendering and analysis for marine offshore operations. He joined Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean, where he has held roles as Business Controller, Senior Tender Estimator and Project Controller. He has also experience as an analyst within procurement in the Aker group and financial investments in Nordea Bank. Paal holds an MSc in Finance from London Metropolitan University and is currently undertaking an Executive MBA at Norwegian School of Economics.

  • Rahela Lokman Hemashrif

    Rahela Lokman Hemashrif

    Senior Tender Estimator

    Hemashrif holds a double MSc in mechanical, Structural Engineering and Materials Science – Offshore Structures and Industrial Economics – Investment and Finances from the University of Stavanger. He has over 5 years of experience in complex infrastructure projects (Vestfold line, Fornebu line, Sotra Link) and has worked as a senior project engineer, consultant, and purchaser. His responsibilities were among other things engineering, follow-up of subcontractors, purchasing, reporting of project deliverables, cost and budget monitoring and risk analysis. He joined Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean were he holds the same position.

  • Heidi Mun

    Heidi Mun

    Supply Chain Manager

    Mun has 15 years of international working experience from different roles in procurement and project management in Oil & Gas and Renewables. Her area of expertise includes international Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing Planning, Category Management and Contracting. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She joins Windstaller Alliance from Aker Solutions where he has held role as a Project Procurement Manager.

  • Erik Opheim Rognøy

    Erik Opheim Rognøy

    Project Technical Manager

    Rognøy holds a Bachelor in Petroleum Technology from the University of Stavanger and has been working in the offshore energy business since 2005, mainly within O&G SURF projects. During his professional carrier, Erik has been working on a variety of project types and scopes giving him a wide experience within almost all type of work scopes in the SURF segment with focus on structure installations, static and dynamic umbilical installations including piggyback installations, and static and dynamic (riser) flowline installation, but he has also gained experience within IMR and mooring hook-up. Erik joined the offshore renewables sector in January 2022 and started working full time in Windstaller Alliance later the same year. In Windstaller Alliance Erik is focusing on cable installation for floating offshore wind tenders and projects.

  • Chris North

    Project Technical Manager

    North has over 30 years' experience in the project management and performance of EPIC, offshore construction and SURF projects. He has worked in the North Sea, Australia and South East Asia taking on key management roles within both contractor and top tier client and companies. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, he joined Windstaller Alliance from Solstad Offshore where he held the position of Installation Manager, responsible for heavy lift, pipelay and SURF projects in the South East Asia region.

  • Eirik Klokkersund

    Eirik Klokkersund

    Operation Manager - Mooring Lead

    Klokkersund has close to 15 years experience sailing offshore in Solstad Offshore, mostly on AHTS vessels in North Sea and Brazil. In 2019 he joined the Solstad Offshore operation department as Vessel Manager with responsibility for the North Sea AHTS fleet following up tenders and operations with clients. He joined Windstaller Alliance in June 2022 and have performed tender activities with focus on towing, pre-installation and hook-up operations and internal & external studies for clients. He has been Operation Manager for Ocean Fish Farm Disconnection and tow to Aker Verdal April 2022, OM Ocean Fish Farm tow and hook-up 2023 and OM for SAITEC DemoSATH in Spain 2023.

  • Bendik Vatland Olsen

    Marine Specialist – Mooring , Vessels & Operations

    Olsen holds Bachelor's degree in Nauthical Studies. He has close to 15 years of experience from renewables, oil and gas industry worldwide. Last 6 years he has been working onshore as a HSEQ-Coordinator were the last 4.5 years have been in the position as Vessel Manager PSV & AHTS. He joined Windstaller Alliance from a position as Vessel Manager PSV & AHTS, at Solstad Offshore ASA. Prior to working onshore he's been working on AHTS and CSV vessels as deck officer around the world.

  • Mirza Zubair Baig

    Senior Planner New Energies

    Baig has over 20 years of international experience in Project Planning and Controls of EPCI projects in oil & gas, petrochemical & offshore renewables industries. He has gained an extensive experience working in projects execution in several countries in Asia, The Middle East and Europe. He joined Windstaller Alliance from Aker Solutions. He has also worked with Technip for more than a decade before joining Aker Solutions. Baig holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Elise Mørk Røed

    Elise Mørk Røed

    Manager, HSEQ and Business Management Systems

    Røed holds Bachelor’s degree in HSEQ Engineering and brings over 15 years of experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Security. Røed has developed expertise in areas such as Compliance, Risk Management, HSE, and Quality Assurance. Prior to joining the Windstaller Alliance, Røed held the position of HSEQ Manager at Reach Subsea where her main responsibility was planning and execution of HSEQ activities in marine and subsea operations. A combination of experience as a General Manager, HSEQ Engineer, and HSEQ Manager demonstrates Elise's well-rounded skill set and ability to handle diverse responsibilities within different organizations. With a solid foundation in HSE, Sustainability and Security, as well as a proven track record in managing Compliance, Risk, and Quality Assurance, Røed brings a wealth of expertise to her role within the Windstaller Alliance.

  • Kjerstin Oline Vedø

    Kjerstin Oline Vedø

    Senior HSEQ Commercial Engineer

    Vedø has broad experience from different roles in the oil & gas and IT industries over the past 15 years, including management roles. She specializes in Quality and HSE, and is also engaged in offshore emergency response. Vedø holds interdiciplinary competencies. She graduated with an MSc from the Norwegian School of Hotel Management, and has later added HSE and Quality management, societal risk and vulnerability, human factors, privacy regulations, maritime law and psychology to her formal competencies. She joined Windstaller Alliance from a position as CQO in RAYVN, provider of critical event management software.

  • Solveig Gjersvik

    Solveig Gjersvik

    QA Engineer

    Gjersvik graduated in 2022 with a MSc in Energy, Environment and Society from the University of Stavanger. For her Master’s assignment she studied offshore wind and the economic impact on the industrial communities close to the windfarms. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Innovation and Business Development, and eagers to experience the offshore wind development. Gjersvik joined Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean, where she has work experiences from subsea projects both as HSEQ, but mainly as QA Engineer.

  • Kristin Frydnes Ek

    Lead Engineer

    Frydnes Ek has close to 20 years’ experience from the oil and gas industry. She worked 7 years with Aibel in the piping department following several large EPC projects. She is joining Windstaller Alliance from DeepOcean where she has worked since 2011. In DeepOcean she has held various engineering roles with a focus the last years on SURF projects. She graduated with a MSc in mechanical engineering from Norwegian University of Science & Technology, NTNU in 2004.
